Most of the time, the auto correct feature on my phone drives me bananas. It really does. But sometimes … it's funny.
Really, really funny.
This is a text I received yesterday afternoon from my daughters' piano teacher. She's a lovely gal that I have been friends with for about twenty-five years.
There is a certain closeness and a sense of freedom that comes with knowing someone for that long.
You feel like you can tell them anything.
Or in some cases, share too much.
About fifteen minutes before the piano lesson was to begin, I received this text from her:
She blamed the herpes not on a marital digression or a wild night in Miami, but on her phone's voice recognition software. Apparently what she said was "I have to pee." and the "smart" phone thought she said "I have herpes."
I find it hilarious.
I, of course, couldn't let it go at that.
I may have done a little teasing.
Hey, it's what I do.
Yep. A certain closeness. You can tell me you have herpes, blame it on the phone, and tell me to shut up.
Best. Text. Ever.
Pin It Now!
Your poor babysitter. She must have been so stressed about being late to begin with. And then to send a text like that. I am sure she meant something else. I am sure of it. Something that sounds similar. Hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteYou should post that on the damn auto correct website!! That's too funny!
