This weekend was a wildly busy one immediately followed by a jam packed Monday.
Translated: I don't have time to write a creative and slightly amusing blog post. I don't even have a breathtaking photo to share with you. That last sentence wasn't conceited. It was sarcastic. Please keep up, people.
What I do have time to share is a quick list of things that are currently on my mind.
1. Avocados. I love them. I love them so much I bought way more at the grocery store this morning than one thirty-nine year old woman needs to consume before they go bad. Way more being defined as seven.
2. Wonder what eating seven avocados in a twenty-four hour time span will do to the digestive system? It can't be good. Can it? Hmm … no. It can't be good. I don't think I want to find out.
3. I watched a movie on my Must See list on Saturday and I'll blog about it later this week. However, crossing a movie off of my list reminded me of another movie that I watched. This movie creeps into my daily routine and yep, it disturbs me still. I'm talking to you, Silence of the Lambs. I was at the grocery store and my gaze settled upon a can of fava beans. A chill ran down my spine. I will never be the same.
4. My sister borrowed my Brady Bunch 'It's A Sunshine Day' CD last October. She thinks I don't remember that, but I do. Good thing I imported that bad boy into iTunes before loaning it out.
5. Really? You are shocked that I own a Brady Bunch CD? Thought that was a given, people. Side note: Only listen the songs original to the show. Don't, under any circumstances, listen to the cover of 'American Pie'. I'm serious. Your ears will bleed and not in a good way.
6. On Saturday, I received a text from a friend asking me about the Honda/mouse connection. She erroneously thought it might be because of the massive amounts of food crumbs, namely Cheerios and Cheetos, found in her Honda. Foolish, foolish woman. I patiently explained that it's a primal attraction between rodent and Japanese auto manufacturer currently undefinable by science.
Okay. I could go on in this fashion for quite a while, but I've been staring at the bag of avocados and now I must have one.
Happy Monday,
-j
