I haven't been feeling well for the past few days, but that hasn't stopped the sunrise from being amazing. Knocking on death's door simply prohibited me from wanting to buzz out in my jammies and Crocs to snap some photos.
My youngest child announced that someone had to take a picture of the sunrise because it was too pretty to miss and that someone was her. She grabbed my camera, took off out the backdoor and (my hand to God) was humming the Indiana Jones theme song.
She may or may not be my kid. The jury's still out.
Here's one of the photos that she took. I like it, pine tree branches in the foreground and all.
I peeled myself off the couch long enough to snap this photo. My youngest liked it even though it lacked pine tree branches in the foreground.
When downloading all forty-seven sunrise pictures (both with and without pine tree branches) I came across one that made me laugh:
It seems that my geeky side has been passed onto the next generation. And so has my love of monkey face jammies. Pin It Now!
Now I feel like an even bigger geek...I thought your post was going to be about Star Trek! :P
ReplyDeleteI liked the first one until my eyes "adjusted" and then I saw a black bird in the middle and one of the creepy trees ala Wizard of Oz over to the right. Then I preferred the picture without the the pine branches :)
