Today was a gorgeous, bright, and sunny day. It was the kind of day that made me shed my monkey face jammies, put on pants, and actually leave the house. With my camera in tow, of course.
After stopping by the ATM for cash (just in case the urge to buy something hit me) and the tire store (my Honda needs new four new ones), I ended up downtown.
Upon first glance, there is little more to my city's downtown area than churches. And taverns. We've got lots of churches and taverns. Yep. Lots of places to either pray or to really tie one on.
I don't really know what that says about my people.
Ahem.
Moving along … on one street corner there is a store. This store has been on the same street corner since 1912. Which I'm pretty sure makes it 100 years old.
Thought I'd throw in some math for you higher intellect blog seeking readers.
And for the rest of you, I give you this: a candy store. A hundred year old candy store.
