Take my arms for example.
They are scrawny and pale because I am a total cream puff and I load up on the SPF White Girl when I go outside.
Know what's weird about my arms?
They look like they belong to two different bodies.
Seriously.
The left arm has a darker skin tone and dark hair.
More importantly, lefty tans.
The right arm has a lighter skin tone and really blonde, almost white hair.
More importantly, righty burns.
One arm tans while the other arm on the same body burns.
Bizarre.
They've been this way ever since I can remember.
Over the years, several people have rationalized this phenomenon (as I've taken to calling myself) by saying that I spend more time in the passenger's side of the car with the window down and my arm hanging out. All that hanging-out-the-window/sun-bleaching-action has caused the arm hair to lighten.
I don't believe it for a second, mainly because I think that arm would be the tanner arm from being in the sun more, but it's the pale side.
And besides, I rarely cruise around town with my arm hanging out the window.
I usually have my whole head hanging out with my jowls flappin' like a basset hound's.
It's fun. You should try it.
Leaving you with that visual,
Jen
