I have willingly given up my zebra print Snuggie.
Gasp! What?!
Tis true, my friends. Tis true. I never thought this would happen to me. Or my zebra print Snuggie.
Before you get all worked just thinking about me giving up on Snuggies in general, let me assure you that this isn't the case. I still adore the Snuggie. My oldest daughter does, too. And she really, really wanted her own zebra print Snuggie. Sadly, the zebra print Snuggie has been deemed a 'seasonal' item and is only sold in stores around the holidays.
Don't know if you've realized this or not, but it's a little past the holidays. My extensive hunt for the zebra print Snuggie has ended without me finding one. Boo.
But this story has a happy ending.
A truly wonderful and spectacular ending.
Know what's better than a zebra print Snuggie? A Wonder Woman Snuggie.
That's right. I said Wonder Woman.

Remember when I told you all about third grade me believing with my whole heart and soul that I was Wonder Woman? The Linda Carter TV show Wonder Woman, not the comic book chick (she's not real and you'll never convince me otherwise). And remember how jazzed I was about finding a Wonder Woman Kitchen Aid stand mixer?
In my highly convoluted world, the Wonder Woman Snuggie trumps the Wonder Woman Kitchen Aid stand mixer any day of the week.
I should point out that the picture on the box is not a picture of me wearing my ultra-hip and cool Wonder Woman Snuggie. Just in case you thought I became a Snuggie model and didn't tell you.
Pssh. Like I could keep news that big to myself.
When I brought the Snuggie home, I paraded around the house wearing it. You know, waiting for the accolades and envious glances from the rest of my family members. My two daughters displayed the appropriate amount of appreciation for the Snuggie.
My husband (displaying nary a smidge of excitement or jealousy) merely pointed out that it's not an official Snuggie. The box never says Snuggie or shows the official Snuggie logo. The box calls it a Comfy Throw.
And that, he said, makes it a Sn-ockoff.
Get it? A Snuggie knockoff is a Snockoff.
Yeah, I didn't find it very amusing either.
Guess who won't be allowed to borrow my Wonder Woman Comfy Throw any time soon?
