I've been thinking about fudgsicles lately. Well, fudgsicles and Cyndi Lauper, but let's focus on fudgsicles for right now.
Mmm … fudgsicles. Frozen chocolately goodness.
On a stick.
Here's a fun nugget of information for you: one fudgsicle has forty calories.
That's right. Forty calories.
4. 0.
Pretty nifty, right?
Yeah, I thought so, too.
Here's another fun nugget for you: the entire box of fudgsicles has 320 calories.
That's right. 320 calories.
Think about it for a minute. One box of fudgsicles = 320 calories.
That. Is. Awesome.
I'm pretty sure that my nightly one-two punch of a bowl of Breyer's topped with lots of Hershey's chocolate sauce is more than 320 calories. Yet somehow, one bowl of ice cream doesn't sound nearly as piggish as eating an entire box of fudgsicles.
One bowl of ice cream with Hershey's is considered normal.
One box of fudgsicles is considered totally pigging out.
The pig out factor is what stops me from eating an entire box of fudgsicles.
No. Not really.
Trying to hide eight sticks in the garbage from the prying (and subsequently judgmental) eyes of my family is what stops me from eating eight fudgsicles a night.
So for now I will stick to my nightly bowl of Breyer's in order to not seem like a piggy.
The world is a funny place, my friends.
