Face Making, Twirling, and a Touch of Soccer Playing

This past Saturday a fresh season descended upon our house.

The soccer season.

I know little about soccer. Precious little. Even after watching my kids play it for the last six years.

It's a ball, a goal, and a knot of kids surrounding the ball while the parents on the sidelines yell things like "Spread out!" and "Stay in your own lane!".

These phrases are foreign to me and I know not what they mean.

To amuse myself, I took along my camera and snapped a few (131) photos.

I love the action shots.

I love the faces the girls made.

I love the goalie in this picture. She's so into the game.

This is my youngest's fifth time playing team soccer. And she still jumps and twirls on the field. I love that about her. I hope she never looses the love of twirling.

All that jumping and twirling (and a bit of soccer playing) made homegirl a bit tired.

Oh wait … I think she's got enough energy to bust out one more killer dance move.

Makes a mother proud.
