1. This morning I went to eat a donut with my oldest daughter at her school. Every year, the school hosts Donuts for Dads in November and Muffins for Moms in April. Not sure why the moms were promised a muffin and served a donut, other than the planners like the alliteration of "m"s.
2. I'm not a big donut fan. I'm a big biscuit fan.
3. I'm not a big orange juice fan. I'm a big Diet Coke fan.
4. I'm a big fan of this kid, so I ate a donut.
5. Glazed, white frosting, chocolate sprinkles.
6. The donut. Not my daughter, although she's pretty sweet.
7. I choked down a few sips of OJ.
8. Ever notice how the OJ tastes funky after a few bites of donut?
9. Had to stop by the drive-thru to get a Diet Coke to wash away the funk.
10. It was a lovely morning.
