Instead of writing a new post for Friday, I spent some time updating my blog. Did you notice? Please humor me and tell me you noticed the changes right away.
I'll be crushed if you don't. I'll get over it much like I got over the break up of Wham! in 1986 - with help from Breyer's all natural vanilla ice cream topped with Hershey's chocolate syrup - but it'll be much better if you just lie to me.
The first of my jaw dropping changes is on the home page. The home page has always contained every new blog post, but now it features other pages, like 'About Me' and 'Horse Stories'. 'About Me' is a very lengthy, vividly recalled, detailed account of my thirty-eight (almost thirty-nine) year old history. And it is completely accurate with absolutely no fabrications or embellishments whatsoever.
No, not really. This is me we are talking about, but it does contain certain very, very true elements to my autobiography. Check it out by clicking on the About Me tab under the title bar. Remember, the 'About Me' tab is totally, 100 percent true.
I gave the horses that live in my backyard their own page. Why? I don't know. It's not as if they like me or anything. Guess I'm just sucking up to a couple of animals that don't read. Well, that makes sense, doesn't it?
No, not really. But the horses have their own page called 'Horse Stories' anyway.
They may not be able to read, but those horses just know when I talk about them. It's like they use a special equine dialect of The Force or something. Giving them their own page is sure to score me big brownie points with them, right? Maybe it will make them stop mooning me whenever I go over to the fence to say howdy, right?
No, not really. But maybe they won't break free from the fence and peek in my windows. Again.
Along the left side of my blog I added a 'Popular Posts' section. Guess what it contains? The three most popular posts!
Yes, really. I thought that would be a fun added attraction much like the House of Mirrors at a county fair. You go into it thinking it'll be outstanding amounts of fun, but soon get twisted up in the maze, want to get out immediately, and suck your thumb in a corner. Yep. My 'Popular Posts' section is a lot like that.
Enjoy! And, as always, comments are welcome.
